ENGLISH COMEDY PLAY-AM I THE PAA?

"AM I THE PAA?"

Swatantra theatre is performing an English comedy play for NDA Cadets "AM I THE PAA?.."

Is adapted by DHANASHREE HEBLIKAR(asst.director of SWATANTRA THEATRE) which is based on Jennifer Longe’s story INTIMATE NEIGHBORING .It is a great pleasure that our group is being invited since 2yrs to perform and also for theatre workshop for cadets at the

N.D.A which is prestigious institute in India.We will also open this play for regular audiences very soon.

ABOUT THE PLAY

Khan was disturbed by the fact that his newborn son didn't look anything like him at birth but was hoping that it will change as time goes by. One day, he met for the first time his

neighbour, Peter, who had been living next-door for nearly a year and was giving his wife dancing lessons at his place while he was at work. He couldn't help but notice the uncanny resemblance between his "son" and him. Disturbed, he decided to put everything behind hoping that the affair between his wife and the neighbor was over. That until one day he overheard his wife on the phone making an appointment with Peter to meet at a restaurant. Khan followed wife and when he entered the restaurant, he found the two of them.What happens then is a twist in the play.

ABOUT THE NDA AUDITORIUM

The NDA assembly /auditorium/cinema hall is situated on the right flank of Sudan Block. It was constructed in 1959 at a cost of Rs. 1,25,000. On 25th July 1992, it was christened Habibullah Hall in honour of the first Commandant of NDA at Khadakwasla. This impressive double storey auditorium with a seating capacity of over 1770, hosts various events such as lectures, presentations, theatrical performances,musical evenings, debates, quiz competitions, Inter-Battalion variety entertainment programmes etc. In addition to the momentous Convocation Ceremony. Hindi and English movies are screened once a week. The hall was air-conditioned in November 1999 at a cost of Rs. 140.71 lakhs
